amy & scott – engaged

Meet the uber adorable Amy & Scott! We hung out last Sunday to take some engagement photos around Old Town Alexandria on a goooorgeous day. Here are a few of my favorites, and with that, I’ll be caught up on blogging now.:)

Thank you, random people’s houses, for having such cute doorways, steps and railings…

And thank you, Old Town, for always having such fun colors!

Sooo cute, you two!

I think these next three images are in a three-way tie for my very favorites:

Thanks for hanging out with me, Amy and Scott! Can’t wait to see you both again soon (in November!) and then again in May for your own wedding.:)

Damn! I think I want to move to Old Town Alexandria! And I most certainly want a cute doorway and steps! Those last 3 are my favorites, too. Love all of the colors in this place! Adorable couple. Nice job, Susan. =)

bernadette & kevin – 09.17.10

As promised, here are a few images from Bernadette and Kevin’s sweet intimate wedding! We were so lucky with a really gorgeous day weather-wise (I think we finally might be out of the 95/100 degree days!). And since I’m a teeny bit later than usual in getting this blog post up (it’s fall busy season!) I’m going to get right on with the photos.

Arriving at the church:

Just moments before the ceremony…

After the ceremony, we spent a little time at Meadowlark Gardens. (B & K, You two look amazing!)

The next two images are courtesy of Chris, who just has such a knack for these moments:

Bernadette and Kevin hosted an amazing dinner for their guests at Argia’s in Falls Church.

An impromptu first dance!

Such a sweet gift from one of their guests (which was wrapped in the paper shown above as the background for my ring shot!):Bernadette and Kevin – your wedding was just so lovely, and it was our pleasure to photograph it! Thank you for sharing the day with us, and we wish you all the best! Congratulations!

Exceptional portraits, guys. Truly. Your images of your couples are always top-notch, these are no exception. And that tops my list of favorite ring shots! So awesome.
