Buy a Plant: Check.

I was driving down Rt. 7 this afternoon and saw this sign, so I figured I’d stop in and see if I could complete #24 on my 101 in 1001 list (not to mention fulfill a few more Project 10/List 2 “green” images):

So that’s Project 10/List 2 – Image 7 (a greenhouse), and here’s Image 8 (just lots and lots of green):

They had tons of gorgeous, colorful plants:

But I decided to opt for something very easy to care for and went with a Peace Lily (Image 9):

It’s cute, right? But I already don’t know where to put it or what to do with it, and I’m scared that I won’t be able to keep it alive. Is it weird to feel so committment-phobic about a plant?!

I *love* those photos…flowers with a shallow depth of field are some of my favorite images. 🙂 oooh…and the plant you opted for is a relative of P. Lily’s!

Susan, you have to have one of the best looking blogs I’ve ever seen!
Also, your plant images are stunning – love the color…

If you’re looking for a LOW maintenence plant, you should get a ZZ. I seriously water it every 2 months when I go to see my parents …. and it can grow in the DARK! They ROCK!
