  • Linsey – Graduating!

Meet Linsey! She’s graduating from American University this weekend (technically she already finished in December, but she’s walking this weekend) so we met up on the AU campus to take some portraits. I really love when people take the time to have this done. The posed cap-and-gown photo is nice, butI think these photos are so much fun to have. I mean, look how gorgeous she is!

Linsey gave me a pretty official tour of the beautiful AU campus. This one on the steps of the Hurst Building (I think!) is one of my favorites:

Complete and total natural in front of the camera! My job was eaaaaaaaasy breezy!

We had such a fantastic taste-of-spring day.Another favorite! I love dresses with pockets! Cutest:

Congratulations, Linsey! I had such a fun time with you last weekend – you were truly so great to photograph. And thanks for the campus tour! It sounds like you’re already off to a really great start with post-college life, and I wish you all the best of luck in the future!

  • Taylor – Class of 2011

Meet Taylor!  She and I met up at Airlie Center in Warrenton to wander around the lovely grounds for a few senior portraits. We couldn’t have asked for a better day weather-wise, and Taylor was a total natural in front of the camera. It was so easy breezy to photograph her. Good weather + beautiful light + gorgeous subject = the following favorite photos!

    Taylor! You really are gooooorgeous!

Truth: this photo isn’t 100% in focus, but I love the motion and her expression, so I’m posting it anyway! My blog, my rules. 😀

Taylor’s sister was along for company, and we couldn’t resist doing a fun action shot!

Thanks for hanging out with me, Taylor! I had such a fun time chatting with and photographing you.  I’m so excited for you with all of the amazing things ahead in your future – best of luck to you this year!
