I Wanna Be a Rockstar (And a Geocacher)

I know I just got back from Flourish, but I’ve registered for the Rockstar Roadtrip photography workshop for their March 31st DC stop. I see it as a great opportunity to gain some different perspectives on the business and also to network with other photographers in my area. I’m really looking forward to it! It’s only one day and no travel is involved, so I figured I couldn’t pass it up.

And completely unrelated: Chris and I are going to go geocaching for the first time ever this weekend! From Wikipedia: “Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called geocaches or caches) anywhere in the world.” Check it out if you are a treasure-hunter at heart or if you need an excuse to go outside and get some fresh air. It sounds like it’s a great family-friendly activity! We’re just going to start in Ashburn, and will eventually branch out once we get the hang of it.

Lastly, here’s Project 10/List 1 – Image 2:

It’s my ribbon organizer. Is it so nerdy that I’ve organized my ribbon?

I hope you have fun at Rockstar. I know you’ll learn tons! I wish I could go 🙁

I love those ribbon holders (Cropper Hopper?) I have mine in the little square containers and store them in a drawer or two. And in jars. And in boxes. And on my desk. I have a thing for ribbon 😮

    Cheers,

ooo…I love your ribbon collection! I almost bought one of those organizers from Linens ‘N Things, but thought I could make something instead. I need to go back and get one. 😉 Love the photo of it! It would make a good product ad!

I wish I had one! And all the pretty ribbon to go with it 😉 Maybe you, me and Jaci should combine our photo businesses with a fabulous scrapbooking business! 🙂
