Photographic Evidence

I have photographic evidence to present to you, blog readers, that even a very chilly, rainy day can turn out to be absolutely beautiful. First a photo of Marjorie and Nick who were married yesterday on a day that had no break whatsoever in the rainy weather we have been having in the DC area. Please allow Exhibit A to demonstrate how genuinely happy these two are as newlyweds (just look at those smiles!) despite the cold and dreary weather.

And please allow Exhibit B to show just how soggy fall in DC really was yesterday, but that the colors of the leaves here are magnificent even in the rain and mud:
