Two 101 in 1001 Items

I’m not going to lie, this isn’t a particularly interesting blog topic, but I just wanted to make good on a few 101 in 1001 items that I’ve completed. I finished item #15 – Do a clean sweep of the garage a few weeks ago with Chris. It wasn’t particularly messy to begin with, so it wasn’t a dramatic makeover or anything. We just needed to let go of some things that we didn’t need anymore. We went through a lot of our stuff and determined what needed to be thrown away or donated. We collected quite a few things for charity, and then organized the rest into neat bins in our storage room off of the garage. Item #16 – Donate novels that I have already read was part of this clean sweep. I forgot to take a photo, so you’ll just have to take my word for it.

Isn’t it so fun to look into other people’s garages and closets? (Please ignore the nest of cables on the wall to the right of the shelves. It was like that when we moved in, and I have no idea what to do with it.)

And also please ignore how dirty my poor little car is. A car wash is on my to-do list for tomorrow!

I’m totally jealous of the fact that you’ve been able to find time to clean out! I thought I would have time this winter… haha. Anyway, congrats! 🙂

PS: I wish you could have made it to WPPI too! Maybe next year. Or you are welcome to come visit us in Louisville any time you want! 🙂

Ugh–I am dying to do a similar attack on my upstairs closets. There is so much to get rid of! All those clothes I pretend I will fit again someday…Oy.

We need better shelves in our garage. I did this, too … but it WAS dramatic! The car now fits INTO the garage.:)
