Wall-E

If you have yet to see the new Pixar movie, WALL-E, get thee to a theater asap! Chris and I saw it last weekend and I absolutely fell in love with this dilapidated little garbage-roaming robot. Even with only a handful of dialog lines, the story is captivating. There is definitely enough substance to keep adults interested while entertaining the kids. And call me ridiculous, I don’t care, but the romantic moments between the two animated robots actually made me swoon. The digital imagery is amazing, and the message of the movie really filled my heart. Oh and the short that played before the movie had me laughing louder than anyone else in the theater, so that was a total bonus. Seriously, why are you still here reading this. Go see the movie!

I loved it so much that Chris bought me this teeny WALL-E replica:

I read your latest blog entry to your Dad and he says you definitely need to write children’s stories. I second that motion!

I saw this movie last weekend and loved it too! So amazing how much emotion the animators were able to convey through these robots. I absolutely fell in love with Wall-E…his sweet devotion to Eve was priceless. 😉

OMG- I totally loved Wall-E! I’m not normally an animated movie lover, but I’d heard such good reviews that I dragged my husband along to see it last week. (He loved it it too.) Such a sweet movie- and I also laughed louder than anyone in the theater.)
